Offline Gmail is a very nice feature offered by Google that enable you to synchronize your emails on your inbox to your PC. I am not sure how Google store it, but after you enable Offline Gmail, and sync all your emails, you are able to check your Gmail (of course you cant receive new email) even if you are not connected to internet (only on that PC). For more information about this Offline Gmail, please click here.

The first step to enable the Offline Gmail, of course you will need to log on to your Gmail, and click the Settings at the top right corner of your Gmail Homepage.

Minimize All Other Window

When you have a lot of windows opened, and you want minimize all, I think you know that you can click on the “Show Desktop” button (if you enable Quick Launch on your Window 7) or you can click on the bottom right side of your screen, where there is a show desktop button on the right side of the system clock. But there is another method of minimizing all other window (except the one you want it to remain unminimize). Now, if you have Window 7, try this:

  • open several window, you can have window media player, internet browser, up to you
  • now choose one window that you want it to remain unminimize
  • click on the top of the window, like how you normally drag the window around, and start to shake the window (either up down, or left right)
  • you should see that all other window is being minimize, but the only window left is the window I shake, and my Google Talk, I guess this method doesn’t minimize Google Talk.

Google Image Search Has Been Changed

This morning, I decide to change my wall paper, which is used for quite some time, I fire up my Google Chrome and do a normal Google Image search. As normal, I click on the image that i found interesting. But this time, after I click this, the image page is not the normal image page from Google. To reconfirm this, I repeat the search on few other keyword, which all result in same image page.
